Advanced UPRT
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Advanced UPRT course enables the trainee to understand how to cope with the physiological and psychological aspects of dynamic upsets in aeroplanes; and to develop the necessary competence and resilience to be able to apply appropriate recovery techniques during upsets.
PRE-ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- A current and valid PPL(A) or CPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1.
- An applicant for Advanced UPRT shall be at least 17 years of age.
- An applicant for MEP(A) shall be at least a Class 2 medical certificate holder.
- Before starting flight training, the applicant must have at least 70 flight hours.
ADVANCED UPRT TRAINING COURSE
- 5 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction
- Preflight briefings and postflight debriefings; and
- 3 hours of dual flight instruction
