LAPL - PPL Upgrade
COURSE DESCRIPTION
LAPL (A) holders can upgrade to PPL.
LAPL restriction are to act as PIC on single-engine piston aeroplanes-land with a maximum certificated take-off mass of 2000 kg or less, carrying a maximum of 3 passengers, such that there are always a maximum of 4 persons on board of the aircraft.
PPL provides you the opportunity to act without remuneration as PIC or co-pilot on aeroplanes engaged in non-commercial operations. PPL with additional training (Class Rating) gives you the ability to fly Multi-Engine Aircraft.
PRE-ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- LAPL Licence
- EASA Medical Certificate
- 15 hours of flight time on aeroplane after the issue of the LAPL(A), of which at least
- 6 hours shall be flight instruction
- and 4 hours of supervised solo flight time, including solo cross-country flight time of at least 270 km (150 NM), during which full stop landings at 2 aerodromes different from the aerodrome of departure shall be made.
